Saturday, July 6, 2013 - An opaque colored wine boasting a inky black core with a bright violet rim, its viscosity is apparent on the eye. Very hedonistic aromas of plums, blueberries, blackberries, violets, with slight hints of banana bread, a touch of rubber, baking spices, and sweet vanilla. Silky textured on the palate with delicious notes of blueberries, blackberries, dark cherries on the attack with a viscous midpalate filled with flavors of licorice, milk chocolate, and refreshing acidity. The finish is long filled with cool dark fruits, milk chocolate, and creamy vanilla. Very delicious, the purity of fruit and texture make this quite drinkable.
