Wednesday, November 27, 2013 - A blend of 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 31% Petit Verdot, 16% Merlot, and 13% Cabernet Franc. It's a dark opaque wine with bright ruby rims, on the nose it reveals blackberries, dark cherries, candied raspberries, roasted coffee, cassis, stemmy green notes, and eucalyptus. Great fruit intensity on the palate showing dark cherries, blackberries, plums, the plump midpalate is filled with espresso, and dark chocolate notes. The finish on this mid bodied red is of short duration, it reveals a sappy green note, black pepper, creamy vanilla, and chewy fine grained tannins.
