Wednesday, December 18, 2013 - Accidentally grabbed this instead of the Perlato. P&P and consumed over two hours. Strong tannins mellow slightly over time. Interesting how an Italian bordeaux blend still registers that unmistakable tar note that I love so much from the region. Wait a few more years before breaking open the next bottle

12/18/2013 2:53:00 PM - I found this wine very tight upon opening, but it softened wonderfully after a 3 hour decant. It was night and day.
