Sunday, December 29, 2013 - The color is beatiful clear ruby and garnet and is translucent. The smells are sweet exotic spices, red licorice, strawberry, olive and sweet cherry. The tastes are cherries, sassafras, black pepper, and earthy notes. The finish is lengthy and so flavorful. The tannins are soft satin and the fruit really comes through on this beautiful wine.
