Saturday, March 1, 2014 - colour is rather translucent red. Nose of earth, medicinal bouquet, some confectionary notes, red fruits, burnt wood unmistakingly barossa. On the mouth medium bodied, , some sour cherry fruit, smooth and juicy. Slightly too high acidity for me and lacks structure. Smoky edge both nose and palate puts me off a little. I prefer decent cote du rhone for same price. This was easy going and nice but would not buy again. Best drunk now. My wife liked it more than I. Australian Shiraz is awesome, can't say same about their gsm blends. Of course there are few exceptions.
