Thursday, March 20, 2014 - Decanted 3 hours. Deep purple color with slight haze. Aromatic cassis, toasted oak & pine tar. Full-bodied, high, round tannins. Intense flavors of violets, black sugar plums, tar, stewed plums, black cherry & raspberry. Long, biting finish of raw baking chocolate. Paired well with beef brisket. Will improve over next 3-4 years. Makings of a truly outstanding juice!
