Friday, March 21, 2014 - Strong smoky smell when first opened. Decanted for 2 hours. Still a bit smoky on pour but was a very enjoyable wine. Rather meaty with some spices and a bit of chocolate. Fruit was nuanced...dark cherries, plums. This was delicious and I think it will get even better if I have the patience to wait a couple of years or more.
