Tuesday, June 3, 2014 - Intense nose of macerated berries. On pop n pour palate opens with green tea on the front end and brown sugar on the finish. Dense and concentrated. Decanted for 3-6 hours and ripe plums with a hint of smoke show up. Figs and cassis fill out the middle. Chocolate followed by roasted coffee as well as a peppery spice. Long finish. Showing some heat but still goes down quite easily. If this is an off vintage then seriously looking forward to the 12's, 13's.
