Monday, September 15, 2014 - A BIG in body but refreshingly lighter flavour profile, easy drinking super tuscan from Maremma. Sangiovese, Montepulciano D'Abruzzo and Alicante. A nose of perfumed violets, cherries, baking spice and oak laden berries. Fine structure with a pure strong finish. A little hot when you open it but after a decant a real chewy mouthfeel develops. A great pizza pairing.
