86 Points

Saturday, January 17, 2015 - Very one dimensional, a bit sweet with tastes of maple syrup, the same from beginning to end. Much better can be found at this price point. They spent a lot of $ and effort on the appearance of this "special" bottling, which is always a concern, since what we want is great wine first and foremost, you can't drink the glass or the label. Suitable for an unsophisticated pallet; a dominican cigar vs. a fine cuban. An expense account dinner wine where a client is being taken out and the supplier wants to impress on appearance and brand, vs. real taste and value. Maybe a tad better than Silver Oak or Jordan.
