Wednesday, January 21, 2015 - This Pinot comes with a big fruit nose up front, olfactory attentiveness being a hallmark of Bell. The initial taste is definitely a bit acidic at back of tongue and notes of licorice. These groups were produced in the Willamette and bottled down south. Definite fruit aftertaste, more than I like in a Pinot. Nice balance but it's not the normal super-refined taste I love from Bell with their own grapes.
