Sunday, January 25, 2015 - Quite interesting. Lots of VA and pine resin at first. With several hours open, the VA dissipated and some fruit and structure emerged, but this is well past it prime. Dark cherry, pine, blood/iron, and leathery notes emerge and ultimately, the leathery quality starts to dominate. More for historical interest at this point than pure pleasure, but pleased to have had a chance to try this.
