Saturday, January 31, 2015 - This followed the Kutch Sonoma Coast in the tasting, and as it was notably lighter in body and more focused on its acids, there was a bit of a letdown. I look back to the prior bottle of this wine, and my notes were pretty consistent - red fruit, acid, elegance. It just got stuck in a tough place.

2/2/2015 10:18:00 AM - Thanks for the note. You had the wines without food right? Do you think putting the Ceritas before the Kutch would change your opinion? Any decant?

It would have been better for the wine to be prior to the Kutch, but I still think it needs a good bit of time to settle into a more measured place.
