87 Points

Thursday, August 20, 2015 - Powerfully extracted fruit with blackcurrant and blackberry. Firm tannins. Heavy application of new oak. This is a big wine with dense fruit, firm tannins and lots of oak. I'd give it a few years to integrate, but right now it's disjointed.

8/28/2015 5:11:00 PM - Sorry, but in my estimation, it doesn't deserve the WA score, or doesn't deserve it right now. BTW, WW at Bev. Mo., gave it an even higher score and described the wine as "medium-bodied." What's full-bodied for him, blackberry jam? This is about as full-bodied a Cab as you can find in Paso. Your "powerfully extracted" description is spot on.
