Sunday, December 13, 2015 - I like, but not remotely comparable to the 2011 Alesia Alder Springs Syrah, which is outstanding. Some dryish wood notes and some stems make for some remarkably dark notes over some good acidity. An interesting wine and perhaps better able to pair with some savory foods than a brighter Pinot.
