Wednesday, December 23, 2015 - What an old wine! The wine is already close to not drinkable, but it still shows the glory of this prestige winery with concrete structure and fair lasting. The nose still has chocolate, asian spice, dark berry, cedar, and smoke. The whole aroma is pretty elegant. However, on the palate, the body is too thin. Most of the tannin is resolved, so the body is extremely soft. Interestingly, acid plays a key role to provoke mouth watering. It is really pleasant to drink this wine to revisit the glory days in Napa Valley.
