Monday, December 28, 2015 - Browns Lose (but didn't suck) - Wines still great (Detert, Janasse) KC Edition (My Basement): Wow, was this bottle singing. Drunk alongside a Detert Cab, this was much more complex, as well as more ripe. Purple in color. The nose has black raspberries, black cherries, spices and slight violet notes. Wonderful, lush texture. On the palate, very deep but unwinds in the glass. Black raspberries, lavender and spice. Delicious. Long finish. Really impressive. No hurry, but so good now, worth checking in on.
