Saturday, February 20, 2016 - Tightly wound and tannic, but the traditional Bartolo Mascarello characteristics on the nose and mid palate begin to come alive after this wine had lots of air. I prefer the 2004 over the 2006, and believe the 2004 vintage will become enter its prime drinking window shortly, and should last almost as long as the 2006.

Drink 2018-2030.
