Tuesday, March 15, 2016 - Random afternoon tasting with glass ware provided by the store, convinced them to get us a decanter. Decanted for 45 minutes.

The wine is clear, deep purple colour, with legs.

On the nose it is clean with medium plus intensity of oak, vanilla, liquorice, black fruits, spice. It is dry on the palate, with medium minus acidity and tannin. At 13% alcohol, medium body with medium plus flavour intensity of oak, tobacco, black fruit, red fruit, plum, farmyard, forest floor, blackcurent leaf, and slight vegetal that finishes medium to medium plus. Overall quality is very good. Can drink now with decanting, but has ageing potential. 15 years
