Wednesday, April 6, 2016 - Dark purple in color and very inky, the nose showed blackberry and plums with a hint of chocolate and anise. The palate was fruit forward but not over powering, showing dark berries, dark chocolate with a hint of game and smoke. The tannins are well integrated and smooth and the wine has a long lingering finish.
