Tuesday, April 19, 2016 - Hdr Closing Tasting: Always great to see Macario. I love his Syrah but this was my first glimpse at the 13. Another winner for sure. Nice black raspberry fruit. Some black pepper and roasted herbs. It runs down the middle in style as ripe fruit from a cooler climate site. Love that. Fresh. Moderate tannins. Needs time based on prior vintages.

11/4/2016 11:57:00 AM - I would give it a few hours or better, just pop the cork and let breathe for 8 to 12 hours. I have not had the 13 Baybos but would guess they age about the same.
