Saturday, June 11, 2016 - $50 wine that performed up to its price point. Hedonistic, foursquare with discernible blue fruit aromatics. Not a hint of any rough edges with minimal acidity and tannins with a touch of cherry added to a blue fruit palate. Light to medium bodied and certainly a wine to be drank now. Don't believe a long decant is needed despite the vintage as wine improved over the first hour and steadied thereafter. Enjoy!
