Sunday, December 11, 2016 - This is a beauty. The smoke, tobacco, truffle, cedar, cherry liqueur, mint, thyme and light cocoa dust in the nose if a winner. But the silky, lush, sexy texture, and the sweet, cassis, cherry and bitter chocolate in the end, seals the deal. Decanted about 20 minutes and enjoyed over the subsequent 90 minutes was working tonight.

12/11/2016 9:26:00 PM - Ooops, I was thinking it was almost 2017, and lost my place :) I have a lot of this wine, and tonight, it really showed well, not jammy characteristics, really quite nice. I am sure over-decanting is an issue for these wines. Let me know what you think of it.
