Thursday, November 3, 2016 - Blind tasting of wines from Northern Rhône. Notes of cherries, leather, prunes, dried cloves and red fruits on the nose. Racy acidity, with ripe, medium-plus tannins and medium body, with notes of cherries, red fruits, licorice, leather and spices on the palate. Rather typical style for a cool-climate wine, but leaves me with the impression of running with its hand brake pulled on.

Blindverkostung Nördliche Rhône. In der Nase Aromen von Kirschen, Leder, Backpflaumen, getrockneten Nelken und roten Früchten. Kräftige Säure im Mund, mit mittleren+, reifen Tanninen und mittelkräftigem Körper. Am Gaumen Noten von Kirsche, roten Früchten, Lakritz, Leder und Gewürzen. Eher kühlere Stilistik. Hinterlässt den Eindruck als würde er mit angezogener Handbremse laufen.
