Monday, January 2, 2017 - High alcohol on the nose reminiscent of port. Medium ruby red colour with browning on the edges. Somewhat dull in appearance. On the palate, nothing like any NZ pinot noir I have tasted. Surprisingly well balanced, some berries and dark chocolate on the palate.
