Tuesday, January 3, 2017 - PnP. Drinkable now. Nose was straight sour cherries, not much complexity. Palate full of fruit, good acidity and minimal tannins. Does not have the structure to hold for long, but excellent drink with food now. Medium bodied, ruby with slight bricking at the edge. Good well made wine with no flaws. Il Poggione always a reliable winemaker for Brunellos.
