Saturday, February 4, 2017 - Dark garnet in the glass. Very aromatic, blueberry, floral and spicy notes. Palate is a lovely balance of tangy acidity and dark fruit: blueberries, cassis. Some steel and pepper in the finish. I am not a fan of big fruity typical Aussie/Cali style wines, and I love this. Interesting to see the enormous range of ratings this wine gets...fruit bomb fans don't like it, savory wine fans find it very nice indeed.

2/22/2017 3:24:00 AM - Check your Dan Murphys to see if they have any of the 2012 in their rack. I was lucky enough to get a 2012 and 2013 to compare and the 12 is much much better.
