Tuesday, March 14, 2017 - Expressive nose of crushed blueberries. Slow ox'd for 1 hour initially. Ripe blackberry, velvety tannins and round mouthfeel. Hard to resist with just minimal air. After 8 hours more black cherry, cardamom, and menthol. Graphite and cola as well. The tannins less noticeable now and more of an acidic backbone. Truly an amazing wine little air as well as with a longer slo ox.
