Tuesday, April 18, 2017 - Pale yellow color. Very muted nose with not a lot of fruit. The fruit you could smell was yellow, particularly lemon. The mouthfeel again muted and with yellow fruit. The wine carries just a bit of residual sugar but it is almost a dry wine. I expected a bit more inner sweetness. The aftertaste was considerably tart which I didn't like at all.
The wine is obviously well made, but unfortunately the second wine from Eva Fricke which did not get me excited. Maybe this one was way too young?
