Monday, April 17, 2017 - This wine defines the concept of a second wine, in the sense of using younger vines not bad crop. Having tried the 2012 Ornellaia recently (too young) this one had a very similar style yet in a lower tone. Still that well made feel, that rightly ripe fruit and well balanced with the oak. A textbook of what a second wine should be, a quality wine made of younger vines. 90 and we would suggest one drinks in a few years.
