Monday, May 22, 2017 - More than two years since last try. Three-hour decant & rebottle for transit to restaurant. Lovely light minerality, graphite, cassis, wet leather and an almost Margaux-like perfume. Intoxicating nose (*sorry* pun intended). Velvety tannins that feel as if they've resolved more than their brief-ish life should have allowed. Great stuff! A touch of blueberry on finish as last half-glass slid home.
I never expected this to be this good this early in its life. Wow.
