Monday, May 22, 2017 - Day 1 in Piedmont (Vietti, Prunotto, & Bartolo Mascarello) (Piedmont, Italy): Really nice nose of dark cherries, blackberries, violets, & spice. Its palate was spicy with plum, violets, and spice. Still very angular and edgy at this point - I would advise holding for another 1-2 years before digging in.
