96 Points

Friday, November 4, 2016 - Hedonist and involving beauty, far from being vulgar. Quite the opposite actually with its redberry and floral notes of unique richness, so elegant. Strawberry and raspberries with layers of violets, roses and lavander, send one to that intriguing mind set that only master pieces of wine manage to do. Complex, reveals fervency referring to mustard and pine trees. There is some noticeable intensity variation that should mellow out with cellar time. Velvety, full and cosy touch of dried flowers and opulent cherry, vivid tanins and a delicious caramel, coffee and tobacco long aftertaste. In a few years, this may be found along with the best wines of 2009. 96+
