Saturday, June 10, 2017 - This is the second Hexamer wine I have tried. Both have been spatlesen with terrific fruit. Approaches auslese level in sweetness (and weight), but excellent acid balance. Honeyed pineapple, white peach, and a little lychee, with a good finish featuring slate. Screwcap, and did not have the initial fizz some others have reported. Delicious. A wine that is both fun and classy.
