Tuesday, August 8, 2017 - First sylvaner, 14 tasted 8/17. Aromatically challenged. Soft notes of stone fruit and minerals, disappointing nose. Very clean palate, good viscousity, balanced acid, lengthy finish. Flavor notes, pear, green apple, white tea, honey, very chalk dusty. Very clean and well done. I prefer more flowers and fruit. But napa sauv blanc peoples, pinot Grigio fans, try a sylvaner! 90pts all day, very wel made wine.
