Friday, August 11, 2017 - Signorello Estate (5 course lunch food and wine pairing) (Signorello Estate): Dark garnet red in color. The 2013 Padrone Estate is a blend of 92% cabernet sauvignon, 5% merlot, and 3% cab franc. Medium to heavy viscosity. The nose was a mixture of rose petal, black currant, blackberry and earth. The taste provided flavors of dark fruits, vanilla and a hint of black cherry. A nice luscious finish. The wine was structure well and had very nice tannins, which paired well with the Wagyu grilled meat. This wine is built to age. A nice wine from a great vintage. Age another 20-25 years. Score 94.
