Friday, October 6, 2017 - Six years on since I last drunk this it's still a hugely impressive wine. Relatively dark amber in the glass the nose is of hugely concentrated barley sugar. Incredible sweetness on the palate (350g/l RS) but there is good acidity here, though maybe a little less obvious than previously. Maybe the balance is just tipping towards the sugar now. Incredibly long and intense. *****
