Likes this wine:

Wednesday, November 22, 2017 - The light nature of this wine is belied by the still youthful intensity of red fruit. At this time it is showing a swirl of that red fruit, juicy acidity and what this old boy interprets as underbrush. (It’s an old memory but the sous bois in this wine is strongly reminiscent of the smell and taste of getting whipped in the face by a branch while crashing though a thicket of huckleberry bushes in the lowlands of the Cascades). Lovely Anderson Valley stuff and a leading candidate for the table tomorrow.
