It wasn't corked, but it was thin and medicinal. I can't think of any food or circumstance that would fit this this swill. Perhaps a barrel was somehow contaminated prior to bottling, or maybe something went wrong during the bottling process. I acquired 6 bottles from WineAccess in January 2015, and this was the first I opened. I'm pouring out the current bottle, and I'll try another bottle in a year or so.
