Saturday, March 10, 2018 - Decanted for 8 hours. A medium/full-bodied wine. Plum & blackberry on the nose with a hint of chocolate. This was a lovely wine. Quite savoury with nicely balanced tannin's riding on a wave of oak & sandalwood. I still have two. I have heard it could go down another 9 years but i felt it was almost at it's peak so i'll open another one later this year or next year & see how it's changed.

Certainly better than I recall the first 2 being, they were opened in 2016. But I only gave mine about 2.5 hours in the decanter - do you think there's a benefit in the longer decant for wines like this? I plan to drink the remaining 3 over then next 3 or 4 years. Outstanding value for money.
