Sunday, March 11, 2018 - Similkameen wines continue to shine. Perhaps thought of as the poor cousin to Okanagan wines, this Orofino red bridge blended wine has good dark red fruit up front with some more complex chocolate / tabacco flavors when aged. Good balance between tannin and acids, medium finish. Drinkable when released, but needs a little time in the glass or decantered. Cellars for 5-7 years easy.
