Wednesday, March 14, 2018 - Last of 3 bottles in .375 format. All 3 are from the same retailer and stored in the same climate controlled condition. 1st one a few years back was the best and most complex, 2nd one was primary but still restrained, the 3rd one I had today was a hot mess. Stewed, prune fruit with noticeable alcohol on the palate. After the first glass I put a cork in it and placed it in the fridge overnight. Day 2 - was not any better and I poured the rest down the drain.

3/20/2018 5:14:00 PM - Sorry to hear that... I have found that the .375 bottles need to be enjoyed earlier rather than later. I have a few .375's that are getting ripe and I need to pop before they go down. I have a few 750's and 1.5L of the same wines that should age better. None the less its sad to see a good wine that has to be dumped.

    Cheers
