Wednesday, April 4, 2018 - Color is dense, opaque, and inky to garnet in tones. Smells are smoke, meat, hoisin, leather, currants, dill, black olive, plum, and earthy notes. Tastes are hoisin, pepper, currants, smoke, meat, pencil, and sour cherry. The tannins are fine grained and dry while the finish is long. Very complex and a fun 20th anniversary wine ro drink with my beautiful wife.
