Monday, April 16, 2018 - Until now this wine has been awkward with the expected bell pepper flavors and brutal tannins. However, that's all gone with this last tasting. For an unclassified wine, there isn't anything better in my experience with numerous vintages. Decanted for an hour. Excellent balance and finish. The fruit is not tired or overly ripe. Blackberries, raspberries, plums with a hint of tobacco. Herbal and violet aromas.
