Monday, April 16, 2018 - PnP then drunk over three evenings. Best was on 2nd evening.
Color shows still quite young, with a deep and lively garnet red.
Very intense nose, quite complex, with fruit still, then cedar notes, a balsamic touch, and a faint hint of mushroomy notes.
Palate is quite remarkable: immediately intense and deep and firm at the same time. Juicy and generous on the midpalate, but without ever losing its firmness and seriousness. Ends almost on a blood, bitter orange note, but on a second sip more towards graphite (or iron perhaps). Also a bit astringent on the finish, but with a very fine texture. Beautiful wine.

I hope that you and your family are doing very well.
