Wednesday, May 2, 2018 - Saturated ruby to the rim-surprisingly young looking. Blackberry jam and charcoal. Medium weight, great glycerine feel. Perfectly ripe black fruit, some fennel, a bit of olive, natural sweetness balanced by a mineral core. Outstanding bottle that could have easily been held for another decade. This might be one of the best Guigal regular bottlings I've ever had.
