Monday, May 14, 2018 - Left open 3 hours before serving, elected to not decant -- worked fine but will decant the next one. Garnet with some orange. Stone, red berries and floral notes on nose. Medium (-) weight fruit enveloped by equal parts mineral acidity and tannins. Underlying richness of fruit. Great with food and the nose continued to transform throughout the evening, taking on more asian spice and earth notes. Amazing bargain and with many years to develop.
