Tuesday, May 15, 2018 - This was lovely, really settled down since my last bottle a year ago. It has slight bricking at the edges. Otherwise, it has that uncompromising Heredia spine of taut acidity, along with a wonderful ferrous/bloody meat quality that accompanies the cherry and tobacco notes. Dynamite when paired with a strongly flavored tomato/anchovy/rosemary dish. I had been going to load up on more 2005 but this 2004 is rounding into something special.
