Wednesday, July 4, 2018 - Opened my 2013 Sherwin etched flag bottle for 4th of July celebration. Definitely the best 2013 Sherwin I’ve had as the wine was finally starting to open up. Very smooth with softened tannins. Popped and poured as there was little opportunity at the party to let the wine sit, however I would recommend several hours of air time to get the most out of this vintage as the wine was noticeably smoother towards the end of the bottle.
