Monday, July 16, 2018 - Opened 3 hours before serving and elected not to decant (left open). Ruby/garnet with some light orange on rim. Nose has a mix of fresh cherry/plum and dried fruits, vanilla/oak, flint/stone, white pepper, and garrique. Palate is amazing with gritty (pleasant) tannins balancing fruit in an elegant manner. Acidity and mineral throughout. Long, persistent flavors that evolve. Decanting an option. This has years and years of life.
